This is a 3 week course starting early September for those who have previously taken a class with the lovely handbuilding queen Jo and want to continue to develop their handbuilding skills. The 3 week class is perfect for those who want to build a bigger vessel form with the large coiling method, equally you can use this class to make several smaller pieces with various handbuilding techniques such as slab building, pinching, carving or sculpting to create sculptures, vessels, jewellery, tiles or whatever your heart desires!
This class will look ways of decorating surfaces such as slip applications, burnishing and oxide washes.
Wheels are available in this class but only for those who are taken classes with Kim and are self sufficient on the wheel as there will be no wheel tuition in this class.
