KIDS POTTERY! ✋🏽🏺🤚🏽

During these workshops the young potters will have an opportunity to discover their 3 dimensional creativity in clay.
They will have a one-to-one lesson on the potters wheel to create a thrown piece or pieces. They might choose to make a one off sculptural bowl to eat their breakfast from, or a giant hot chocolate mug or a pot to keep all their pens organised. Whatever they decide to make on the wheel they can paint and decorate with vibrant colours to their own designs.
They will also be guided in making a hand built piece, this could be a personalised room sign with their name on it, or a sculptural creature from their imagination, funky jewellery or something functional like a money box or plant pot.
Classes are grouped in ages:
Reception to 8 years
9 to 13 years
Teen class 13 to 17
Saturday 30th of May
*please note this is a drop off class, once your child is settled they must be happy to be in class without you, this is your time too!
*please allow 3 weeks for all creations to be fired, everything is slowly dried, fired once, glazed, and then fired again to stoneware for durability.
*healthy snacks will be provided, please provide a water bottle for your child.
